I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to be a finalist for the She Inspires National culture champion award and rising star award 2022. Being a Finalist is recognition of what hardwork, dedication and perseverance can lead too. My aim is to be a role model and encourage more young women of colour to aspire to becoming independent and empowered leaders for our society and to break down any barriers that may stop them from achieving their dreams by making positive changes to the world.
Women lead with strength, respect and empathy. Having more women in leadership positions from diverse backgrounds will help show a future of endless possibilities for all young women.
A big thank you to Gulnaz Brennan and her team for providing this platform for passionate women and supporting women to show their true potentials. I want to personally congratulate all the finalists and I am very much looking forward to being in a room with such incredible and inspirational women sharing their stories.
