Inspiring Women to Move with the SheInspires 7 Day Fitness Challenge

Louise Walden Edwards, the winner of the 2024 SheInspires Award in the Women in Fitness & Wellbeing category, continues to exemplify dedication and innovation in promoting women’s health and well-being. In the true spirit of giving back, Louise has developed a seven-day fitness challenge specifically tailored for the SheInspires community.

“Winning the SheInspires Award for Woman in Fitness & Wellbeing last year meant the world to me. To gain such recognition for the work I do and the passion I have for it was a dream come true. The awards process alone changed me and helped me grow and develop. For me, SheInspires has been more than an award—it’s a journey that I’m still on, from being a finalist in 2023, winning in 2024, and in 2025 I’m going to be a judge and collaborating to inspire the SheInspires community to move.”

The NHS recommends that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity each week to maintain optimal health. Recognising that this can seem daunting, Louise has thoughtfully designed the challenge to include manageable 20-minute sessions, making it both accessible and enjoyable. These sessions require no special equipment, allowing participants to integrate exercise seamlessly into their daily routines.

“I’m so excited to be championing this movement. An extension of my ‘Micro Mummy’ project, I am trying to drive change and break down the barriers associated with exercise. Let’s drop the ‘all or nothing’ approach, let’s solve and combat the excuses and aim for ‘progress and not perfection.’ With the help of Gulnaz and the SheInspires team, we are empowering you to move, and in a series of seven workouts in seven days, I’m showing you how.”

We are delighted to have Louise’s expertise and enthusiasm guiding our community towards healthier lifestyles. Her unwavering commitment to empowering women through fitness has made a lasting impact, inspiring many to embrace active and balanced lives.
