On the occasion of the Commonwealth celebrating its 75th anniversary on 26th April and in recognition of its historical and current standing as a leader in its field, Cambridge Worldwide Academy received the royal honour to be included in the prestigious commemorative publication “ The Commonwealth at 75”

It is humbling that out of the 56 Commonwealth nations that make up 2.5 billion of the world’s population, we have been selected to be showcased as one of the Commonwealth’s leaders in education and international trade.”
CWA is proud to be officially nominated as a patron of The History of Parliament Trust (funded by the House of Commons and the House of Lords) commemorative publication which is produced in partnership with St James’s House, the official media group for parliamentary and royal celebrations and is written by a team of academics and award-winning authors.
The commemorative book showcases examples of leadership, innovation and development between the 56 nation states and coincides with the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and his new role as Head of the Commonwealth. It also marks the appointment of His Majesty as Head of the Commonwealth and celebrates the ideas, individuals and organisations who have contributed to the success of the development se 56 nations. It is an honour for us to be recognized as one of the individuals and organizations that contributed to such success.
As this is a celebration with a parliamentary and royal association, the royal correspondent Katie Nicholl was commissioned to conduct an interview with Dr Wakefield. During the interview, Ms Nicholl expressed her admiration for CWA pioneering work and exceptional success in the export of British education and the development of education systems in more than 60 countries.
The limited-edition hardback book will be published under Crown copyright, feature the crowned portcullis – the official emblem of the UK Parliament and be launched next November at Westminster Abbey. It will also be gifted by The History of Parliament Trust to more than 400,000 individuals, including:

• Special advisers, researchers and staff across Westminster and Whitehall
• Members of the European and Commonwealth Parliaments
• Government agencies and departments
• Universities, colleges and schools
