She Inspires is a UK-based organisation creating pathways that help women turn recognition into leadership, leadership into opportunities, and opportunities into lasting social and economic impact.
Through our three pathways, the She Inspires Awards, RISE – Women Leading the Future and the Marketplace, alongside The SHE List, Let’s Talk Money and Empower 50,000 Girls, we celebrate achievement, develop leadership, build financial confidence and create trusted opportunities for collaboration, enterprise and growth.
Our work is built on a simple belief: recognition builds confidence, confidence fuels leadership, leadership creates opportunities, and opportunities strengthen Women’s Economic Agency. Women’s Economic Agency is the ability to make informed choices, access opportunities, and shape your own future with confidence, independence and purpose. It is about having the confidence, capability, networks and opportunities to influence your own economic future and build lasting financial independence. At She Inspires, we’ve spent more than twelve years helping women strengthen their economic agency through the power of recognition, leadership and opportunity. One example is Dr Helen Wall, whose She Inspires Award in Women in Health & Medical Professionals opened the door to new partnerships that led the University of Greater Manchester to donate £10,000 to Bolton Hospice. It is a reminder that when women are recognised, the impact often reaches far beyond the individual.
Women’s Economic Agency grows when women are recognised, equipped and connected. That’s why everything we do is built around three pathways. Our Awards celebrate achievement and raise visibility, RISE develops leadership and confidence, and the Marketplace creates opportunities to collaborate, grow and thrive. Together, these pathways help women strengthen their economic agency, achieve greater financial independence, and contribute to stronger businesses, stronger communities and a stronger economy.
RISE is the She Inspires flagship leadership conference — a space where women move from stage to strategy, turning recognition into influence and ideas into action. Bringing together leaders across business, education, public service, science, technology, and global trade, RISE is where cross-sector conversations deepen, connections form, and solutions are shaped.
Hosted annually in Manchester, it is a catalyst for visibility, collaboration, and the future of women leading with purpose, power, and clarity.
